Unit2 Kickboxing Workshop

The Atlanta Photography Group held a portrait and action photo workshop 4.4.09 This was a perfect opportunity to work with equipment most of us do not have or have available to us on a regular basis. We also worked on photo technique. This also happened to be a kick boxing tournament..enjoy..
Frank gathering the participants, explaining portrait photography.
These two athletes were so easy to work with, they were both very photogenic and struck most of their own poses.
The look of confidence.
We worked on stop action flash photography.

Run for Ronald McDonald House

I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer photograph the run for Ronald McDonald House on the campus of Georgia Tech sponsored by Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Everyone had a blast! This event took place on April 4, 2009.

4am project (April 4, 2009) from downtown Atlanta, Philips Arena, one would think that downtown Atlanta would be hustling and bustling with traffic and party goers, even at 4am but NO. I had to wait for this car to drive by just to get a light trail. What a way to start the day.
Looking north toward downtown Atlanta from Philips Arena. After I took this photo (below) I hustled to the Alabama state line to get a photo at 4am central time.
4am project from the rest area in Alabama, on the Alabama/Georgia line. I hustled from Atlanta to get the 4am photo central time. It was an exciting start to the day.
